Patricia Peterson joined the firm as a nurse paralegal in 1995. Her previous experience in the medical field is invaluable, having worked as a staff nurse in the medical/surgical/emergency trauma fields as well as in Public Health and missionary work in Selma, AL. After moving to Massachusetts in 1971, Pat became an Instructor in Nursing and the Nurse Manager of the medical/surgical/cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Milford Medical Center. Pat returned to college herself in 1993, and after two years of study, received her paralegal degree. Pat was a welcome addition to the firm in 1995. She is often the primary contact for new clients with the firm.
In addition to her work at Robert A. Shuman & Associates, Patricia is a successful author and has published two well-received fiction novels in the last several years. She resides in Medway, MA with her husband Paul, a Professor Emeritus at Framingham State College.
