Risa Schneider-Fine

Risa Schneider-Fine has, for the past 25 years, been representing people who have suffered serious personal injuries as well as families who have lost loved ones due to the fault of others. She has played an instrumental role in some of the firm's most noteworthy verdicts and settlements including numerous medical malpractice cases involving, amongst other things, failure to diagnose cancer, failure to detect and treat various heart conditions including heart attack, failure to appropriately monitor and take action during labor and delivery, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, wrongful birth, and other serious personal injuries including brain injuries as a result of lead paint poisoning.

Risa received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University in 1978. After graduating, Risa became a registered nurse and worked as an obstetrical and pediatric nurse for many years. She attended The New England School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1985. Risa's medical background and expertise has placed her in a unique position to understand her clients' medical issues as well as obtain the assistance of renown medical experts in various medical disciplines. Risa takes pride in getting to know each and every one of her clients extremely well. This enables her to explain to juries and insurance company representatives the true impact an injury has had on her client's lives. In each case she works with a litigation team to ensure that her clients' receive full compensation for their injuries. She is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts.

Outside of the office environment, Risa spends much of her time volunteering to help the less fortunate. She has volunteered at "Health Care Advocates", representing underserved clients, tutored immigrants who are learning to speak English and served as a mentor in the "Visiting Moms" program.
